8. Your brace is now applied.

9. If the client feels too much of a pull from the brace, tension can be adjusted by thinning the brace. Lightly buff the complete nail including the brace and remove all shine. Remove dust. Clean lightly with LCN Cleaner. Let dry.

10. Apply LCN Connex Plus – An anti- fungal contact facilitator sparingly on the nail around the cuticle line – let dry completely until “chalky” appearance.

11. Apply a thin layer of chosen Pedique Plus over the entire nail and brace. Cure in light unit for 2 minutes. If brace is still protruding apply a second thin layer of Pedique Plus, cure in light unit for 2 min.

12. Option A: If Pedique Plus application has waves/ bumps wipe dispersion film with LCN Cleaner. Buff lightly – remove dust – re-clean with LCN Cleaner. Let dry.

Option B: If Pedique Plus Application is smooth leave dispersion film.

13. Sealing Options: High Gloss: Seal with LCN Pediseal Cure in the light unit for 2 minutes. Clean with LCN Cleaner.

Matt Finish (ideal for men): Apply thin “polish like coat” of chosen LCN Pedique Plus. Cure in the light unit for 2 minutes. Clean with LCN Cleaner.

French Finish: Apply LCN FM Pearl White or LCN Colour Gel Extra White with light strokes to the free edge, creating a crisp smile line and cure in light unit for 2 minutes. Apply LCN Pediseal with light strokes over the entire nail – ensure smooth application. Cure in the light unit for 2 minutes. Wipe with LCN Cleaner.

Maintenance: Every 4 weeks remove complete application and re-apply Ingrown Toenail Brace and Pedique Plus until ingrown nail has grown out completely. A Pedique Plus overlay can be used as prevention for toenails that are prone to become ingrown.

Light Cured Concept for French Pedicures, Permanent Polish & Toenail Reconstruction

Do not soak feet prior to application.

1. Push back cuticle, buff nail remove all shine.

2. If necessary file nail plate thinner for greater flex of the brace.

3. Clean with LCN Cleaner. Let dry.

4. Ingrown toenail brace is most effective when glued closest to the pain sensitive area of the nail. This may differ on each side of the nail depending where the nail is ingrown.

5. The length of the brace must be customized to the client’s width of visible toe nail by trimming the length of the brace.

6. Apply a small drop of LCN Fastener from center of nail to side wall. Apply rough side of brace to the Fastener and hold for at least 1-2 minutes.

7. Apply a second small drop of LCN Fastener from center of nail to the other side wall. Press brace down and hold for at least 1-2 minutes.
