ONLINE CARE ANYWHERE Valuable Benefit

Employees on the health in-

surance are able to consult

with a health care provider by

computer or phone. It is of-

fered through St. Olaf as an

unlimited benefit.

Typical online consultations

include: cold/flu symptoms,

aches and pains, children's

health issues and general

medical advice. In certain

cases, the provider can also

write prescriptions. Click here

to learn more.

EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP) What can it do for you?

The College offers an Employ-

ee Assistance Program (EAP)

through CIGNA Behavioral

Health to all employees and

members of their immediate

families. This benefit is paid

entirely by the College.

Click here to learn more about

the EAP.

UNDERSTANDING INVESTMENT JARGON

most common retirement investment plan terms to help you talk the talk—and, more

importantly, feel more confident about your retirement savings.

VIEWING SELECTACCOUNT BALANCES ONLINE

Employees who have elected medical and/or dependent care reimbursement have the

ability to create an account online and view their account balance(s).

For instructions on creating an online account click here.

Another year of student employment is

up and running! The students received

their first payment on October 15. A

new feature this year is that students

are able to view their pay statements

online through SIS. This will provide

students with immediate access to their

pay information. If you receive any

questions about this, have the student

come to the Human Resources or Pay-

roll Offices.

You should have received your first

monthly report, if you are listed as a

budget manager for student employ-

ment. Please review this report careful-

ly as it contains important infor-

mation. It will alert you to your stu-

dents who are working in other areas as

well as students who may be at risk for

exceeding their work award as the aca-

demic year progresses. Viewing the

report is the best way to prevent sur-

prises in the spring!

If you are a supervisor responsible for

electronically signing time sheets,

please be sure that you are doing so for

each student who worked for you that

month. This will ensure that students

are paid on time for the work they per-

form. Unfortunately, students do not

always record their hours as they work

them. If they do not record any hours

for the month, they do not receive the

system reminder that the time sheet is

due. Your help is greatly appreciated.

If at any time during the year you find

yourself in need of student help, please

let Jennifer know. She has several re-

sources to help you find the help you

need.
