Summary Grades 3 -8 ELA District ELA performance is strong for all

grades with subgroups making progress to close the achievement gap

Performance 3-8 is comparable to or higher than Similar Schools performance

Grade 4 and 8 performance is higher than previous years and moving in the direction of closing the gap for subgroups.

High School Performance Based on ELA and Math Regents after 4 years and

the Graduation rate. Regents examination scores are reported in 4 score

levels: 0-54, 55-64, 65-84, 85-100

Secondary assessments are taken when students complete the coursework for the core curriculum: therefore performance is measured for a cohort rather than a grade level

Report Card Summary Overall performance is strong Subgroups show improvement in closing

achievement gaps with most fluctuation among SWD. Some significant gains for Black and Disadvantaged subgroups ELA and Math.

High School Performance is strong for all students and improves for students with extra time.
