THE NORTH SHORE SOAP FACTORY, a family owned and operated

business, manufactures and

distributes their proprietary line

of all-natural, handcrafted soap

and skin care products from

their factory located in the His-

toric Waialua Sugar Mill.

North Shore Soap Factory’s

proprietors, Jerry and Debora

Driscoll, began the venture as a

hobby in their home in 1996

with ten original soap recipes.

From the beginning, the couple

had a vision to provide all-

natural, chemical free skin care

to customers. Before long, it

became more than they could

handle at home and they leased

the iconic “bagasse bin” build-

ing on the grounds of the His-

toric Waialua Sugar Mill. The

North Shore Soap Factory was

born! With the addition of the

unique cone shaped building,

the company’s vision grew to

include the factory as an excit-

ing visitor’s destination. Soon to

follow was the spa inspired bou-

tique, with it’s vintage decor of

plantation days memorabilia

donated by generous neighbors.

tested and handcrafted in the

Kukui & Macadamia Nut Oils are

carefully blended with Pure Essen-

tial Oils to create spa quality prod-

Our products are carefully formu-

lated without using any detergents,

harsh chemicals, or petroleum

based ingredients. What we don’t

put into our products is just as im-

portant as what we do! Hand-

crafted, one batch at a time, each

product features island-grown in-

gredients such as Hawaiian Kukui &

Macadamia Nut Oils, papaya, tan-

gerines, coffee, & guava. Many

products also feature organic ingre-

dients such as organic oatmeal, rice

flour, & blue cornmeal. We only use

natural preservatives such as

Vitamin E & Grapefruit Seed Extract.

Our all-natural soaps are handcrafted using our

original vegetable oil base for the best bar of

soap you can use on your skin. Hawaiian Kukui

Nut and Macadamia Nut Oils are carefully

blended with Pure Essential Oils to create a spa

and retains your skin's natural beauty. Each

soap is made with either organic oatmeal, or-

ganic brown rice flour, or organic blue cornmeal.

I have used regular commercial soaps all my life. Over the past year every time after I take a shower my skin gets horribly itchy. I tried chang-ing my moisturizer and moisturizing while my skin was wet. I tried changing my bath loofah. I tried not exfoliating. I tried a different razor and not shaving at all! I tried other brands of com-mercial soap you can buy at the grocery store; nothing worked. I went to two dermatologists who gave me antihistamines and steroid creams which had little to no effect.
