IT tools, support for motivating and organizing yourself, as well asstrategies for improving your networking skills.

TRAINING COACHING MENTORING

Within our Professional Development Program you can choose be-tween dierent educational formats depending on your needs andcareer goals.

Training sessions constitute the major part of our program. In one-to two-day highly interactive workshops our experienced trainersinstruct you in achieving expertise and mastering new skills in va-

rious elds, for instance about the best way to present yourself andyour research results, teach at university level or organise your time.

Coaching in small groups aims at developing your awareness andthe power to reect on your existing skills and knowledge and help-ing you to nd the best way to enhance your performance. Mentoring aims to support female doctoral candidates in explo-ring and pursuing their career options. DRS Open Door Talks is a lecture series addressing all students,doctoral candidates and postdocs. Experts from dierent occupa-

tional elds share their individual experiences and discuss with youhow to make the right career move. Other Open Door Talks dealwith funding opportunities for research stays abroad or postdoc-toral projects.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

Our mission is to constantly improve our Qualication Pro-gram and to enhance the quality of our doctoral candidates'learning and development.

Trainers and coaches are recruited and selected on thebasis of their professional experience and outstandingqualications.

The course program is regularly reviewed and revisedto meet the current needs and proles of the courseparticipants.

Course assessment ensures the evaluators anonymity. The results of course assessments are compared to

those of other workshops from the same semesterand analysed with the trainers in a positive assessmentclimate, ensuring that feedback from the participantsleads to concrete improvements.

DRS Pro Business verbindet die Vermittlung von betriebswirt-schaftlichen Grundlagen mit Angeboten zur individuellen Potenzi-alanalyse und bereitet dadurch auf den Berufseinstieg in der priva-ten Wirtschaft oder im entlichen Sektor vor.

Bestandteile des Programms sind u.a. die Erstellung eines Kompe-tenzprols, ein Planspiel zur Simulation typischer Unternehmens-situationen und eine Einfhrung in die Betriebswirtschaftslehre.
