GT Green Alliance

• On Thursday 2/7 the Sustainabil i ty Committee hosted the first meeting of the GT Green Al l iance, a network of environmental student organizations on campus. At this event attendees introduce themselves, the clubs they represented, their current and previous projects, and what they hoped to change on Tech's campus. A wide array of student groups were represented, including Students Organizing for Sustainability (SOS), Engineers Without Borders (EWB), Engineers for a Sustainable World (ESW), Solar Jackets, Energy Club, Trailblazers, and the Association of Environmental Engineers and Scientists (AEES). The Sustainability Committee led a discussion on methods of collaboration on individual projects as well as inter-organization initiatives such as a Georgia Tech Green Fee.

• Are you interested in representing the entire student body in the Undergraduate House of

Representatives (UHR)? Run for a Representative Position! Open seats are: EAS, Architecture, and Civil Engineering. If you have any questions, feel free to email the Speaker of the House, Michael Mosgrove, at [email protected]

• The Planning & Development Committee is setting up a new Campus Planning Student Advisory Board, and we are currently taking applications. The application can be found at tinyurl.com/gtcpsab and will be due March 15. I have attached the flier (done up by one of your wonderful committee members), which has more information on the opportunity, and if people have questions, they can email [email protected].
