• Inst itute Communications is currently seeking a student assistant to work within their Special Events & Protocol division. Housed within Campus Communications and Special Events, the student assistant will work with the Special Events & Protocol manager and coordinator to plan Institute-level events, including Commencement, Faculty & Staff Honors Luncheon, Student Honors Luncheon, Retirement Dinner, and other large scale initiatives. Ideally, the student assistant candidate will be a 2nd or 3rd year who has the ability to maintain the position for multiple semesters.

Interested candidates should send their resume and cover letter, which can be included in the body of their email, to [email protected] by Friday, September 28, 2012. Interviews will be held October 1 - 12, 2012, with minimal training beginning in the latter part of this fall semester. The position formally begins in January 2013 and provides a competitive salary, flexible work hours, and multiple opportunities to interact with prominent Institute officials, outside vendors, campus communicators, and members of the Georgia Tech community.
