Andrea wrote her first joke in 2010 and within a year, her material was being used on The News Quiz. Her one-liners, links, sketches and parody songs have been used in shows on TV, radio, stage and online. She also writes, commissions and script edits viral videos. She is currently working on a comedy film screenplay with her writing partner, Soulla Tantouri Eriksen.
Andrea has spoken about comedy writing, women in comedy and social media on panels at the London Screenwriters' Festival, The Writers' Guild of Great Britain, the Big Comedy Conference, the Craft Of Comedy Writing Conference and Mumsnet Blogfest. She has twice been a judge at the Funny Women Comedy Awards.
She has appeared on Radio 4's Broadcasting House and BBC Radio Scotland's Comedy Cafe and is a regular guest on live topical TV shows on London Live.
Andrea is also a freelance writer of online comedy content. As Comedy Editor of The Huffington Post UK, she was responsible for viral hits such as 'Woman Gives Birth To Baby', the Tour de France French-Yorkshire translation guide, the spoof One Direction London Underground poster and the trailer for Wayne Rooney's 'Skyfall'.
