Crop cafeteria of 5 different varieties of ragi and redgram was established and demonstrated to farmers. Permanent fodder crops cafeteria has been established at KVK farm
As a long term plan give importance for precision farming
Importance is given for dryland horticulture and precision farming is being practiced at farm
Bee keeping programmes to be organized One program on hands on experience on bee keeping was organized for 20 farmers from across the district

Lodging facility does not exists. However, 6 days duration coconut tree climbing and plant protection training was conducted from 18-23rd February 2013. Besides this one day sponsored training programmes from ATMA, Dept. of Horticulture, Sericulture, AICRP on Forage crops, RKVY have been conducted

Involve veterinary department doctors and plan for more number of programmes on animal husbandry
4 animal health camps were organized involving veterinary doctor of department of AH&VS
Address beetel vine wilt and coconut caterpillar problem of the District
Coconut caterpillar menace has been addressed through frontline demonstrations and training programmes (3 nos.). A project has been under taken under ATMA to identify new chemicals and to chalk out effective management strategies To manage beetel vine wilt problem efforts were made through training programme involving horticulture department officials, and pathologists from UAS, Bangalore. Further, demonstrations on soil drenching of fungicides were carried out under the supervision of experts. However, problem still persists. Therefore, feedback has been given to research group during ZREP to takeup research.
Need based joint field visits of Horticultural department personnel and KVK Scientists and sending a necessary press note according to the problems diagnosed during visit
