We’re now hiring a Part-Time Youth Minister!
YOUTH MINISTER JOB DESCRIPTION Expectations: The youth minister must be a member of the Church of Christ. • He must be able to dedicate approximately 20 hour per week directing youth activities (this includes Wednes-
days, Sundays, and any other time to develop and mentor youth). Can work with a part time salary of $1500 per month provided by the church. Will possess (or obtain) a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) for operating the church bus. Office space and certain clerical support will be provided. Responsibilities :The youth minister at the Glenpool Church of Christ will: Build relationships with each young person within the congregation and foster the development of a cohesive
youth group. Organize and lead group activities for the teens (devotionals, game nights, meals, outings, trips, youth rallies,
etc…). Teach teen classes and develop students in the 6th-12th grade into life-long members of faith equipped to apply
Biblical values to everyday situations. Provide opportunities for students to put into practice what they have learned (service projects, retreats, camps,
etc…). Regularly communicate with parents and other adult volunteers about the youth program and activities—
encouraging their support and involvement. Encourage teens to actively participate in the worship and activities of the church. Manage the youth budget that is provided by the congregation. Will manage and organize a social media presence for the church in order to stay in touch with the youth. Other duties as assigned. Please pray for Alexis Tension who is having some issues with her health during her pregnancy.
Winnie Lack's hip has deteriorated and needs repair. She will have surgery July 16th. Please pray that it holds up until surgery.
Eric Vaughn’s test results show no signs of heart rejection!
Braden Mooney, Debbie Whitchurch’s nephew, had an accident with fireworks and lost his right hand, and will need physical therapy for his left hand.
