ABSTRACT

Manas Pratama., 2015. Analysis on road hardening, maintenance, and improvement using component analysis method with expense budget plan in Gondangmanis Road – Kudus km 0+000 – 3+0 0 0 . Final Project, Transportation Civil Engineering Undergraduate Program, Civil Engineering Department of Engineering Faculty of Surakarta Sebelas Maret University.

Roads Gondangmanis a collector roads III class B with the type of flexible pavement and has a width of 6 m. This road is the main link between the Kudus District Pati regency. Type of vehicles through the road segment consists of motorcycles, cars and large trucks to treiler.

The observation was conducted on Gondangmanis Kudus Road in 3.00 km length aiming to conduct an evaluation on road condition using Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method by dividing the road into several segments with 50 m interval. Then, every segment of road was observed (visually) and measured to identify the types of damage existing and assessed corresponding to PCI method.

From the observation that the value of PCI 57.3 pertained "Fair" with the type of damage in the form of Alligator Cracking, Depression, Bleeding, Longitudinal Cracking, Polished Aggregate, Patching, Potholes and Stripping. The damage in some segments only and do repairs based on the type of damage that exist, namely by filling cracks, laburan local asphalt, sand stocking and filling. According to the calculation volume of traffic density, CBR value of 90% amounting to 7.5% and 5.48 soil bearing capacity planning is repeated with a thick layer of 8 cm thick in accordance with the design life of 10 years. Pavement materials used are Laston Ms.744. Then of the entire job is obtained the total cost required in business improvement and quality improvement at Jalan Gondangmanis - Holy km 0 + 000-3 + 000 2015 is Rp. 2,946,276,228, -Keywords: Pavement Condition Index (PCI), LASTON, RAB.

Tugas Akhir, Program Diploma III Teknik Sipil Transportasi, Jurusan Teknik Sipil Fakultas Teknik Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta.

Ruas Jalan Gondangmanis merupakan ruas jalan kolektor kelas III B dengan jenis perkerasan lentur dan memiliki lebar 6 m. Ruas jalan ini menjadi jalur penghubung antara Kabupaten Kudus ke Kabupaten Pati. Jenis kendaraan yang melalui ruas jalan ini terdiri dari motor, mobil dan truck besar hingga treiler. Agar berfungsi lebih baik, harus dilakukan evaluasi secara periodik dengan dukungan data yang valid.

Pengamatan yang dilakukan pada Jalan Gondangmanis Kudus dilakukan karena beberapa alasan. Dengan tujuan untuk melakukan penilaian kondisi jalan dengan mengunakan metode Pavement Condition Index (PCI) dengan membagi jalan menjadi beberapa segmen yaitu setiap 50 m. Kemudian, setiap segment jalan dilakukan pengamatan (secara visual) dan pengukuran untuk mengidentifikasi jenis kerusakan yang ada dan melakukan penilaian sesuai dengan metode PCI.

Dari hasil pengamatan diperoleh nilai PCI 57.3 tergolong “Fair” dengan jenis kerusakan berupa Alligator Cracking, Depression, Bleeding, Longitudinal Cracking, Polished Aggregat, Patching, Potholes and Stripping. Kerusakan ini pada beberapa segmen saja dan dilakukan perbaikan berdasarkan jenis kerusakan yang ada, yaitu dengan pengisian retak, laburan aspal setempat, penebaran pasir dan penambalan. Sesuai perhitungan volume kepadatan lalu lintas, nilai CBR 90% sebesar 7.5% dan daya dukung tanah 5,48 dilakukan perencanaan tebal lapisan ulang dengan tebal 8 cm sesuai dengan umur rencana yaitu 10 tahun. Bahan perkerasan yang digunakan adalah LASTON Ms.744. Kemudian dari seluruh pekerjaan diperoleh total biaya yang diperlukan dalam usaha perbaikan & peningkatan mutu pada Jalan Gondangmanis – Kudus km 0+000 – 3+000 tahun 2015 adalah Rp. 2.946.276.228,- Kata kunci : Pavement Condition Index (PCI), LASTON, RAB.
