Coming soon … a new way to pay

EMV (Europay, Mastercard, Visa) chip active cards allow for increased security and easier use of the card while traveling. EMV chips, similiar to Apple Pay, use a sophisticated cryptogram commonly used to validate data integrity, which enables dynamic authentication. “The creation of dynamic cryptograms for every transaction with online authentication is an important feature of chip cards that provide enhanced levels of security,” said Randy Vanderhoof, director of the EMV Migration Forum. “Using this process means that even if fraudsters were somehow able to steal account data from chip transactions, they would not be able to use it to create a counterfeit card and have fraudulent transactions authorized in a chip or magnetic stripe environment.” As your Grange Credit Union cards expire we will be updating all of them to EMV.

Coming Soon.... a new way to pay.Members will soon be able to use all their Grange Credit Union cards on their Apple device to make easy and secure payments anywhere. Use the security of TouchIDTM to pay with a single touch. Accepted at hundreds of thousands of stores, Apple Pay is a more secure way to use your credit card. A newly developed tokenization system means neither Apple nor the merchant receives your personal information. This new system means a safer way for all to pay! We will be updating members as soon as the service is available for our Visa program. In the meantime, visit apple.com/apple-pay for more information.

“The soil is the great connector of lives, the source and destination of all. It is the healer and restorer and resurrector, by which disease passes into health, age into youth, death into life. Without proper care for it we can have no community, because without proper care for it we can have no life.” - Wendell Berry

“Organic is something we can all partake of and benefit from. When we demand organic, we are demanding poison-free food. We are demanding clean air. We are demanding pure, fresh water. We are demanding soil that is free to do its job and seeds that are free of toxins. We are demanding that our children be protected from harm. We all need to bite the bullet ... we must make organic the conventional choice and not the exception available only to the rich and educated.” - Maria Rodale
