DEAR CHURCH1 Samuel 2:30 “Those who honour me I will honour, and those who despise me shall be lightly esteemed.”

We are so blessed with many wonderul people and God truly is doing some amazing things

throughout our church. Here are just a ew that come to mind:

- Food hampers and aid or those in need

- High School and University Ministry

- Preparation or Globalheart Church Zambia

- Young Adults Men’s Recovery Centre

- People being saved daily throughout various ministries

All these things are so good, but let’s keep squarely in the centre o our hearts that

it’s all or the honour o Him. Even in our loving and blessing o people, doing it

or His honour will keep us sae and will help us develop right perspective. Wecome into this lie with nothing and we will leave the same way. However

in the middle o it all, we are and will be truly blessed!!

I that’s not quite your experience yet, stay aithul and ask God what

is your part. (What do you need to do right now?)

Let’s honour Him in our job, our amily, our riendships, our

university, our business and our church. We are called to be a

church that honours Jesus frst in all things. The amazing thing

is that God is reciprocal in then bringing honour to our lives.

testimonies of transormationI have always been someone who has been searching or a deep meaning in my lie. This search or

answers led me to many places such as science, eastern philosophy, psychology and I also became

a practitioner o Buddhism or 13 years. Whilst I learnt some interesting things, I elt there was still

something missing. This missing piece was in act something very big – a personal relationship with

a loving God.

Ater struggling with the dilemma o whether I should stay a Buddhist or search or God in

Christianity I eventually put this concern directly to God in prayer.

Ater moving to Australia I struggled to settle with a new Buddhist group, I was hiring a car opposite

Globalheart Church when I observed people walking out and I said to my wie, “Maybe we should

go somewhere like that”. To my amazement, several weeks later we had an unexpected invite to go

to church and we were even more amazed when it turned out to be this very church. It seems thatwhen you take one step towards God, He will take 10 steps towards you!

Ater walking into Globalheart Church it elt like the prodigal son had fnally returned home.

Immediately my wie and I ell in love with the church, its atmosphere, teachings, music and praise.

Ater several months I was invited to the Men’s Conerence ‘Rise and Stand’ by a man who even paid

or my ticket! When I was at the conerence I elt something stirring up inside me and I eventuallyput my hand up to receive Jesus into my lie.

Since my salvation, my aith in God has gone rom strength to strength and all I want to do is to

deepen that relationship. In March 2013 I was baptised and I am so thankul to God or all He has

done or me.
