WALT SCHNEIDER (Jeff)Walt joins us for the first time following several roles in local

productions in "Dracula," "Sherlock Holmes," "Night of the Demons,""Shenandoah," and "To Kill a Mockingbird," all at Montalvo. He movedto Los Gatos from Reno three years ago and works as a marketingconsultant. He has also done TV and Radio Commercials, but enjoyscomedy roles.

ROBERT GRISWOLD (Jeff)We welcome Bob back to the same role he played ten years ago with

WVLO. This is Bob's eighth production for the Association since itbegan in 1964, having appeared in "Oklahoma," "Here's Love," "BellsAre Ringing," "Guys & Dolls," "Once Upon a Mattress" and others. Hewas one of the original "OVERTURES" performing with them for 2 yearsand then directing for 1'h years. In the past 20 years, Bob has eitherdirected or performed in 70 different productions. He is currentlydirecting "Night Watch" for Montalvo. We are very glad to have Bob backand hope he doesn't stay away so long next time!!

JULIE DALE (Meg)Another newcomer to our organization, Julie is not a stranger to the

stage and leading roles. Most recently she appeared with SunnyvaleCommunity Players in "Brigadoon" and "Annie Get Your Gun," and inother local productions of "My Fair Lady," "Guys & Dolls." Julie is astudent at Foothill College and her hobbies include art, music, and travelamong other things. We hope to see more of Julie and her talent on ourstage.

CARL BALLOU (Harry)Carl is a familiar face to Saratoga audiences. Acting, singing and

dancing seem to come naturally to this young and versatile performer. And when he's not doing his thing on stage, you'll probably find him onthe top of a tall ladder hanging lights or working on scenery. A recentTheater Arts Graduate from SJSU, Carl works as Theater Tech Directorfor the City of Sunnyvale and is a messenger for Eastern Onion SingingTelegram Service. When he has some spare time, his hobbies includesong writing, photography, film making, and square dancing.

LES DALE (Mr. Lundie)Not only is Les a newcomer to WVLO, he is also a newcomer to theater

as a performer. His first and only role was in Sunnyvale's production of"Gypsy." Before that he was strictly an observer who always enjoyedwatching others perform. Les says that, " ... if performing is hereditary, then he has inherited his from his daughter, Julie (Meg)." His hobbiesinclude anything creative; painting, metal sculpture, music and cooking.

LAWRENCE OHRAN (Charlie Dalrymple)This is Lawrence's first show with WVLO and we are delighted to have

him. He lists his other 'musical experiences' as roles in "Where'sCharley?" for SDG, "Kiss Me, Kate" and Sunnyvale's "Brigadoon." Hehas been singing in the area for the past 10 years, seven of which werewith Schola Cantorum. His major interests are classical music, community theater, good books, and his wife, Gayle (not necessarily inthat order). He has two goals-to play Tony in "West Side Story", and tobecome one of America's few counter tenors.

NANCY COLLARD (Bonnie Jean)Even though Nancy is a native San Josean, she also makes her debut

with WVLO in this production. She has studied at SJSU and University ofSouthwestern Louisiana and performed in dance concerts at SJSU andwith Ballet San Jose. She currently teaches ballet through the San JoseParks & Recreation Department. Besides dancing, Nancy is fond oftraveling and raquetball.

During the 1700's, the "time" of BRIGADOON, there is evidenceindicating that the Scots payed no attention to wearing tartans inconnection with their Clan; they simply wore the pattern of tartan theyliked. It wasn't until 1822 when King George IV visited Edinburgh thatthe various Clan Tartans got a firm grip and has since become atradition.
