Rules

4 different categories: Items, People, Places, Symbols and soon Aastra solutions.

Rights of use, access The icons/pictograms of Aastra are free of rights. That means you can use them freely and without paying any charge. You can also reproduce them. You can share them with your partners and customers. Therefore you can’t sell/market them.

Icons : The different icons, which serve for building schemes, symbolize Applications, IT Architecture, different people in quite different situations and a great number of other symbols. Some icons correspond exactly to the real figure while others only have a symbolic character. Therefore you have to keep in mind to attach a legend for avoiding misunderstandings.

Size :Make sure that the icon is always clearly legible, irresepective of surroundings and background. (Web, Print) Don’t resize the icon unusual so that they don’t loose their quality. (Pixelization) Don’t stretch the icon to avoid loosing its proportions. Try to maintain the relation of size between the icons.

Orientation of the icons :Give your schemes a lot of different perspectives, vary the view of the icon. The arrangement of the icons should show a certain logic. For example, all of them in the centre or all of them around a special element. Don’t reverse the icons. (except for people)

Do’s and Dont’sDon’t mix the colored icons with the Black&White ones. Don’t mix photos and icons. (if it’s possible) Don’t use old icons but the most recent version of the icons. Don’t use icons of different origins. (if it’s possible)

Droits d’utilisations, accèsLes icônes/pictogrammes Aastra sont libres de droit. Vous pouvez donc les utiliser librement et gratuitement. Vous pouvez également les reproduire. En revanche, vous ne pouvez pas en faire un usage commercial. Dans le cas de l'utilisation pour une publication, notamment sur Internet, vous êtes prié de faire figurer la mention "Pictogrammes Aastra".

Icônes : Les différentes icônes qui vont nous servir à faire des schémas symbolisent les applications/ matériels …les plus couramment utilisés. Certaines icônes sont des représentations figuratives et d’autres sont symboliques/conceptuelles. C’est pourquoi, il faut penser à mettre une légende pour éviter une mauvaise compréhension du sens de l’image.

Taille :Assurez-vous que l’icône garde toujours une bonne lisibilité quel que soit l’environnement et son fond. (Web, imprimés)Ne pas redimensionner anormalement l’icône pour qu’elle ne perde pas sa qualité (pixellisation)Ne pas étirer l’icône afin qu’elle ne perde pas ses proportionsEssayez de conserver les rapports de tailles initiaux entre les icones.

Orientation des icônes :Donnez plus de perspective à vos schémas, variez les orientations des iconesOrientez les icones selon une certaine logique. Par exemple, tous vers le centre ou vers un élément particulier. Ne pas inverser les icônes. (Sauf personnages)

A faire et à ne pas faireNe pas mixer des icones des couleurs et des icônes N&B.Ne pas mixer photos/ icônes.Ne plus utiliser les anciennes icônes.Ne pas mixer des icônes de provenance diverses.
