• The text in this book is very simple the text could be compared with that of the Serif font because it has the little flicks on the letters to help guide the eye of the reader along the text and although the lies of text are not very long they help to clearly explain what is going on in the picture that is places most of the time on the right of the book this is so that the child will read the text 1st then look at the picture before turning the page the book only contains 338 words making the book very short and therefore suited to younger children who are luring to read

• This book has a lot of pictures in it mostly one very two pages although some pictures stretch over two pages of the book and there is not text on these few pages the pictures uses a lot of shadows to show texture as well as a 3d effect to each picture for example on the wolf suit that the boy wears in the story there are clear shadowing this is used the picture are a mix of painting and drawing the painted parts add a lot of texture to the water and rock but only parts of the pictures are painted the style of the book is very grainy
