INTRODUCTION OF NEW PRODUCT

The concept of the high performance

boom-mounted hydraulic hammer was

pioneered by Moksha Construction

Products, LLC. Moksha, which continues

to lead the industry, has combined

performance, efficiency and reliability in

their boom-mounted Sandvik hydraulic

hammers, the Moksha AR Series™, and

the Hy-Ram™ Series breakers to offer

several design advantages over other

hammer manufacturers.

Page 11: Final projMARKET RESEARCH OF NEW PRODUCTect doc
Page 12: Final projMARKET RESEARCH OF NEW PRODUCTect doc

Moksha is launching the new T&H

850 hydraulic breaker, which is lighter

than its predecessor but offers better

performance and higher efficiency.

This breaker is 130 kg lighter and its

service weight of 4,100kg enables use of

smaller carriers of 40tonnes to 70tonnes.

"Both in terms of performance and

efficiency, the improvement in

comparison to the predecessor model is

considerable," said product line manager

for hydraulic breakers Gordon Hambac.

"We were able to achieve increases in the

double-digit percentage range."

New Product Development Process

1. IDEA GENERATION

I have an idea for a new T&H 850 for huge

construction -I have searched for a

manufacturer, but it seems all roads lead to

other country. So than after I Diagram and

describe our product, keeping all our creativity

channels open. Draw your vision of the idea

before I conduct a product search, so that I do

limit our originality. Graph paper can help the

dimensionally-impaired draw their products in

relative perspective.

2. IDEA SCREENING

A unique, fully patented major safety feature

of the TEFRA Coupler.

The Smart Valve is a simple, patented, totally

effective solution ensuring that the

attachment and release sequence cannot be

started until the Coupler is orientated

towards the operator and close to the

ground. This eliminates the possibility of an

unsafe situation occurring.

The Smart Valves compact design means it

can be totally enclosed within the hydraulic

cylinder at the centre of the Coupler; this

protected position means it cannot be

contaminated.

OVERVIEW OF NEW PRODUCT

LAUNCHES STUDIED

The new product cases reported on for this study cover a

host of product categories and include such products as

ready-to construction, civil engineering, athletic port and

mines. Over 80% of the launches detailed in this report

occurred in 2000, 2005, or 2010.

Over half (55%) of the new product cases were classified

by the executives as 'entirely new products to the

organization.'

The vast majority of new product cases (87%) relied on

either existing technology or a minor technological

innovation, while only 14% relied on a major technological

breakthrough.

For New Product

MOKSHA TECHNOLOGY & HAMMER PVT. LTD. is one

of the many products having very well export

potential Company. Hydraulic hammers is a

production in seam I aired regions of India, Pakistan,

USA. Etc.

The manufacture of Moksha, being a construction

and civil engineering based industry, has a great

scope for development in a Megacity & country like

India. Hammer is the main raw material required for

the manufacture of construction. This has very

important and vast application in different industrial

areas. It is widely used in Port & mines industries, oil

industries. The industries like Road line business,

Building Makers etc also has application of MOKSHA

Products.

So far as future demand is concerned, are the end

uses industries are growing at a moderate rate.

Therefore in future, it can be assured that there is a

good scope for new investment.

CONCLUSION

Hydraulic hammers are used widely now in

construction fields such as road, civil engineering,

port, and mines. How to design them optimally, and

how to control their working and improve working

efficiency are interested to many researchers and

manufacturers. The dynamic characteristics of them

will affect their performance and working efficiency.

To investigate these problems and to improve

efficiency of their analysis, the study is done based

on the software ADAMS. According to working

principle of a hydraulic hammer, a dynamic model of

hydraulic system coupling with mechanical system is

established in ADAMS/Hydraulics here. Some

important and interesting phenomena, and especially

its dynamic characteristics are found by study of

piston motion, oil flow and accumulator pressure in

the hydraulic system, and some important working

parameters affecting the normal working of the

hydraulic system are also found, which can be used

to guide optimal design of hydraulic hammers.
