The University of Southern Denmark

• University of Southern Denmark has more than 17,000 students and more than 2,000 employees. The university offers teaching and research at 6 campuses situated on Funen, in the south of Jutland, west of Zealand and in the capital city – in Odense, Kolding, Esbjerg, Sønderborg, Slagelse and Copenhagen.

Knowledge Lab

• Knowledge Lab was established in October 2002 as one of four ICT competence centres in the western part of Denmark. The purpose of these ICT (competence) centres is to develop IT related research at the Universities and to improve collaboration in this area with, private and public companies and organisations.

• Knowledge Lab is financed partly by the Danish Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, regional authorities, private danish operators and by the university
