• Using just one kind of backup is not considered a backup.
• Rule to follow: Always Back up with 3-2-1 Rule:
– 3 copies of anything
– 2 different formats
– 1 off-site backup

– 2 different formats (examples: external hard disk + DVDs, Dropbox + Thumb drive)
– 1 off-site backup (think: fire, flood, tornado)
