TYPES OF PARAGRAPHS AND PARAGRAPHS
Example:
“The roses are a popular type
of flowers in the gardens . The
roses are easy to grow and
beautiful to look at”.
Ejemplo:
“Las rosas son un tipo popular
de flores en los jardines. Las
rosas son fáciles de cultivar y
hermosas a la vista”.

Párrafo:
Es un grupo de
palabras en un texto
escrito que expresa
una idea o un
argumento.
Paragraph:
It is a group of
words in a written
text that expresses
an idea or an
argument.

Párrafo Descriptivo:
Se compone de frases
encadenadas juntas para
presentar una imagen
detallada de una persona,
lugar, cosa, evento o idea.

TIPOS DE PARRAFOS
Ejemplo:
Paola es una niña de diez
años. Es muy alta, vivaz, tiene
piel color canela, los ojos
marrones, el cabello largo y de
color café.
Descriptive paragraph:
Consists of phrases
strung together to present a
detailed picture of a person,
place , thing, event or idea.
Example:
Paola is a ten year old girl . It
is very high , lively, has tan skin
, brown eyes , long brown hair .

Párrafo Narrativo:
Se utiliza generalmente
para contar una historia.
Ejemplo:
Luis cerró la puerta
y bajó las escaleras.
Caminó hasta la esquina y
allí se detuvo para
abotonarse bien el abrigo.

story .
