SettingOur narrative is set in the late 80s and rides on the vogue of synth wave, traditional film, and horror. The majority of the plot takes place in forest with restricted access, next to a small scale British town. From the perspective of the main protagonist, the plot lasts a total of three days. However due to the circumstances of the narrative, the plot actually spans from the 1950s to the early 2000s.

SynopsisSet in a 1980s rural British town, a group of teenagers are set on uncovering the mystery behind the local restricted forest. Robin accompanied by Megan, the keen photographer in the group, discover something strange in one of their photographs. The photo shows structures in the forest that aren’t actually there. When Robin, Megan, and their friend Chris go to the press on this matter, they are turned away and told that they must take a better photo. The three friends organise a camping trip into the forest, with two more friends Patrick and Ray, in the hope of finding answers. All is going well at the camp when all of a sudden Patrick goes missing. The group splits up to try and find him. However, they find that no matter how far they search they repeatedly end up back at the camp. Both groups gradually become concerned as they both endure scary sightings of people from the past. Ray also discovers a deceased duplicate of himself lying on the floor. Robin and Ray eventually find the structure in the photo, simultaneously Meg and Chris find the ruins of this structure in another time zone. Shortly after finding the ruins Meg and Chris are chased by Horace, a man with murderous intent. By searching the building, Robin and Ray reveal that the structure was actually a time experimentation facility, and that Horace was one of the test subjects. Meg is offed by Horace leaving Chris running in fear until he runs through shifting time fields, which kills him. Ray finds a map showing the locations of the forest’s changing time zones and shares this information with Robin. Horace appears in their time zone and is engaged in a physical struggle with Ray. The two of them are caught in yet another changing time zone leaving Robin alone with the map. Using the map Robin attempts to flee the forest when Horace reappears wielding a bloody knife. Robin manages to outrun Horace using the map to navigate around the time pools. Upon escaping the forest, she finds her now middle aged friend, Patrick. –roll credits.
