Promotional Beyoncé has advertised herself and her music in many different ways, such as designing her own perfume brand as well as collaborating with Pepsi, L’Oreal, Emporio Armarni and H&M. Beyoncé is also involved in many movements such as one which was to raise awareness of female empowerment. Also, she supports more than 30 charities across the world. She also performs at many concerts which are supporting certain causes. An example of one she performed at was one which was raising awareness for HIV/AIDS which has had a devastating impact in Africa.

Beyoncé’s record label is Columbia Records which is an American flagship recording label, under the ownership of Sony Entertainment, operating under the Columbia Music Group. They are a very successful record label overall as they have many people signed for them such as Pharrell Williams, John Legend, The Script, Adele, Calvin Harris & J. Cole as well as many more.

Overall Beyoncé’s net worth is estimated at $440 million. She has sold over 15 million albums in the US and over 118 million albums

Extension of income Beyoncé is known to of starred in many films over the past few years and as well as having a successful singing career she has a successful acting career also. She has been in 11 films overall and 1 television programme. Many of these are well known, such as Austin Powers, Dreamgirls and Epic.

When it comes to using social media Beyoncé has got a Twitter account but rarely uses it. The last time she had tweeted something was the 19th August 2013, but she still has 13.9 million people following this account. She has a Facebook page which she updates regularly with pictures and videos and 67,601,858 people are liking this page. She also has Instagram and uploads photos and videos on there every day for her 26.1 million followers.

Beyoncé has her own online store which sells merchandise such as clothing and mugs with lyrics from some of her songs printed on them, t-shirts with her face printed on them, hats with her name on them and stick on nails which she has promoted in some of her music videos by wearing them.

Extension of outlets On YouTube, Beyoncé has a channel which has posts of her music videos and lives performances. This account is operated by the company Vevo which is a hosting video service. The account has 6,932,335 subscribers and an overall 3,607,052,568 views.

Beyoncé has had many live performances, such as her own concerts as well as being part of line-ups at big festivals. She also performs at award ceremonies such as the Grammy’s, The Super Bowl Halftime show and The Billboard Awards.

She also has many DVD’s out. Many of them are focused on her concerts. There is also a DVD which is based around herself and her husband Jay-Z. She has 15 albums out overall which date back to 2003.

Synergy Beyoncé has many different companies supporting her and promoting her work. For example, Beyoncé has starred in many films for different film producers as well as starring in films/documentaries of her own based around her life. Another example is her music starring in big films such as Fifty Shades of Grey, which includes her song “Crazy in Love” but with a twist, which not only promotes the film but also promotes herself. Beyoncé also stars in every single one of her music videos, whether it’s playing a character or dancing. She and her

mother and sister also have a clothing brand called “House of Dereon” which sells dresses suited for special occasions. She has also featured in many different adverts for fragrances like Emporio Armarni then released her own perfume brand.

Producers strategies Beyoncé’s producers have many different strategies when it comes to promoting her. When her “Beyoncé” album came out short clips of the music videos were released before the album was. Also, an example was when a video was released of her dancing to promote her new video. Her and her producers also handle things differently to other singers as her filth album was put on iTunes with no warning beforehand. Although Beyoncé is already a strong character from her own will, her producers help promote that power she has by helping make women believe that they have that power too. Also, nicknames for her have been created such as “Queen B”.
