Natural disasters prove that the sceptics were right…
A series of natural disasters strike the entire world
making most oil impossible to extract and distribute
What happens…
• Price of oil grows exponentially
• Major famines occur across the world• including the developed world
• Wars, political conflict
• People are forced to find alternative means and return to renewable energy sources
• Technology evolves to meet the no-oil reality
Home sweet home, 2025
Long Term Effects
• Health issues related to the environment have dramatically decreased
• Household becomes more self sufficient
• Increases in natural capital
• Rate of extinction decreases and some species begin to multiply in numbers
• Government now funds natural and renewable sources of energy transmission technology
Long Term Effects
• Economies re-orient around technology and education transfer
• The fight for oil is no longer there
• Electric cars are dominant
