HOMEWORK CHALLENGE Animal Presentation Project Our project this term will be a research/presentation project on an animal. Each learner will choose the name of an animal and from there they will be asked to utilise time at home to research this animal and to prepare an online presentation which they will then share with the whole class on a given date. I have included some guidelines as guidance so that each child knows which lines to follow when research is being done as well as a calendar of dates which shows when it is your child’s turn to present their project. The learners have all the skills necessary for them to complete this project with increasing independency however, I would like to encourage parents/guardians to be involved with their child/ren as this is a brilliant opportunity to improve discussion skills, oracy confidence and presentation capabilities. All of which are essential life skills. Each presentation will be assessed according to various descriptors; however, I have included these so that you and your child/ren can practice against these to make sure that Sheets I have included to help you: - Guidelines as to what must be included in the presentation - What we are looking for when presenting your information - Dates for the presentations

Each presentation will be assessed according to various descriptors; however, I have included these so that you and your child/ren can practice against these to make sure that you have included them.

This is a fantastic opportunity for your child to show off all their skills that they have acquired throughout their years at school so I hope you and your child/ren enjoy every minute of completing this task together.

If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact me via the school office or come and find me when you pick up your child and I can help answer any questions you may have.

Sheets I have included to help you:

- Guidelines as to what must be included in the presentation- What we are looking for when presenting your information- Dates for the presentations
