Tables - Keep practising the multiplication tables in this order – x2, x5, x10, x11, x3, x4, x6, x7, x8, x9, x12 – use the multiplication sheet in the Home Learning tab on our website to help you. There are lots of ways to learn the tables e.g. chant them in different voices, write each table out several times every day, use J2Blast on Hwb, play Fastest Splat with mum/dad/brother/sister. Also, think about the division facts that correspond to these i.e. 7 x 4 = 28 so 28 divided by 4 = 7

Spelling activity – Practise reading and spelling words from the spelling sheets using the Look, Say, Cover, Write, Check strategy that we have practised in class.

Reading - Read every day. You can find a selection of additional books on the Oxford Owl website. Go to the website www.oxfordowls.co.uk. Click on class log in. Username is Miss Ashton and password is School123.

Go Green Day – This week ‘Go Green Day’ will be celebrated in Wales. It is an opportunity to bring people in Wales and beyond together to help protect four million hectares of tropical forests, helping to reduce deforestation as part of Wales’ response to the challenge of climate change. It also raises awareness about how important tropical forests are for us and our climate as well as for the wildlife and people who live in them. Read the ‘Size of Wales’ information sheet about Kenya and how the charity is helping this area of the World. To show our support for this charity we are holding a ‘virtual’ Go Green Day on Friday, June 26th– please could you wear something green, take your photo and tweet it to @RhosPrimary – thanks !
