ATTENDANCE
This year we are aiming to raise our whole school attendance. For the last three years St.David’s has had an attendance of 95.9%.
PunctualityGetting to school on time is a good habit and benefits your child for a lifetime. 5 minutes everyday Over 3 days lost in a school year.10 minutes 6 full days lost in a school year.15 minutes Over 9 days lost in a school year.20 minutes Over 12 days lost in a school year.
Please try to get your child to school before the register closes at 9 o’clock, otherwise your child will be marked as either absent or Late.

The school understands that children are ill, we all know that sickness can be a problem and it may be necessary for your child to be absent from school. Please can we ask you to contact the school either by telephone or email to inform us of your child’s absence. If we have not heard from you by 10:30am the school will contact you.
HolidaysWe ask you to consider when you go on holiday; please try to avoid school time. If you are thinking of taking your child out of school, you need to write a letter/email to ask permission. Some holidays may be unauthorised by the school.
