OVERVIEW

Over the years Timberwolf has been proud to complete contracts with the majority of UAE and GCC detailed and dynamic projects of large scale and design for flooring, decking, pergolas, and cladding. With four generations of timber milling experience, the Douglas family operates and runs a Dubai-based flooring factory and distribution warehouse. The company offer British quality and best-in-class standards of service and administration and handle all types of timber projects with tailored solutions. The original establishment was formed in 1927 in North-East London and commenced export trade to Dubai in 1997. Timberwolf Carpentry LLC was established in 2007, and brought both manufacturing and distribution facilities to Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The company is under the management of Mr Wolfgang Douglas as Chief Executive Officer and Operations Director. Timberwolf is part of an independent British group of companies that are dedicated in offering the best of British exports and quality of services worldwide.

Timberwolf’s experienced team works with over 350 professionals in the industry. The company offers a turnkey service to clients, including technical back office support, design and Autocad drawing services and site supervision by qualified European experts. Since operations commenced in Dubai UAE, Timberwolf has employed a seasoned group of European experts from the timber industry, and have strived to bring the best quality and services of wood flooring and decking to the local market. The vision of the CEO is not just provide floor coverings that are produced to a high quality of standard, but also to use best practices that makes best use of sustainably sourced timber by recycling wastage into wood plastic composite. Wood Plastic Composite (WPC) is manufactured from a combination of recycled plastics and hardwood waste. Timberwolf holds the largest single holding capacity of parquet wood flooring, decking and raw timber materials in the UAE.

Timberwolf also uses hardwood materials for wood floors and decking manufacture in order to suit the needs of the local harsh environment, as they naturally very durable and offer excellent dimensional and structural stability. The African teaks recommended (C. excelsa and C. regia) have a wide distribution in tropical Africa, from Sierra Leone in the west, to Tanzania in the east. C. regia is confined to West Africa, where it occurs from Senegal to Ghana.

The engineered, laminate and solid flooring is manufactured in Great Britain and the European Union and can be supplied to anywhere in the GCC from the factory in Dubai. Timberwolf prides itself on supplying British products combined with British efficiency. Timberwolf is partnered with multiple British and European trading establishments in order to offer the very best of Britain and Europe directly to the Gulf Region. Timberwolf participates both independently and in partnership with British and European timber manufacturers alike in trade exhibitions with the advice and expertise of the UKTI organization. Timberwolf always continues to look to further our UK trading partners to trade and promote leading British quality products. We are also proud to support the UK government’s GREAT Britain campaign which aims to promote the UK internationally as a GREAT place to do business.In our Dubai based factory, Timberwolf aims to always move with the changing times and have become renowned for our focus on customization and specialized themed application of designed internal and external flooring or decking applications. We have a fully functioning custom design carpentry factory that can tailor and manufacture designs either from scratch or from unfinished pre-cut stocks. Timberwolf bespoke customization services provides an opportunity to be more than just creative in matching colours or specific dimensions that are sometimes not available in the local market. The expert carpenters can match exact specifications from consultants or designers and provide replica alternatives if required. The factory can also provide cost effective alternative solutions in different species.

INTERNAL PARQUET & FLOORING Our internal real wood parquet flooring manufacturing standards are met with stability versus quality made specifically to engineering requirements that suit the local temperatures, humidity or climate related issues. Timberwolf provides not only a great looking appearance of flooring, but also the most stable product in our industry in terms of deform prevention and final finish. This is because we understand the value of wood lies in not in the short term beauty when installed, but in the long term stability that both minimizes expansion and contraction issues as well as to withstand bending, cupping and warping regardless of the weather.

Most of our bespoke concept and engineered collections are especially marked with our Timberwolf patented Gulf spec seal, which guarantees the design of the engineered material to cope with the specific atmospheric conditions that would otherwise hinder or cause defect to standard flooring alternatives. Timberwolf also offers re-finishings and onsite maintenance packages with our Gulf spec seal in order to prolong the condition and life span of the floors integrity for long term commercial and domestic use.With custom designs and bespoke concepts in both solid and semi-

solid engineered options available in our factory, we have been able to offer for the first time ever to this region a true unprecedented BLANK CANVAS DESIGN option. Creative designers and imaginative interior architects now have the opportunity to have locally made custom design pieces for large projects. This gives projects the opportunity to use locally produced parquet, marquetry and flooring in a unique manner without extended lead time.

Internal and External Wood Theming & Feature Works Timberwolf are one of the few Gulf based bespoke carpentry factories that have completed the majority of Dubai's and the GCC’s most impressive timber feature art works, over the past decade. Timberwolf have been awarded specialist bespoke tourism projects such as façades and shading structures. External Real Wood Decking

Manufactured locally to give custom and bespoke applications made specifically to suit the local climatic conditions of the UAE or GCC, we focus on cutting or milling methods, with compatibility of materials for different uses in circumstances under our preliminary sorting and mill design at the finishing lines of which are carried out in our Dubai Investment Park Factory. Timberwolf decking is manufactured with rough sawn stocks to tailor make real wood decking options that can vary dependent of applied use or budget.

Teak is usually the species of choice in the UAE or GCC, being the most commonly recommended timber for external real wood decking due to its strength and stability. The finished dimensions can be made up to 50mm thick. We also work with Walnut, Wenge, Mahogany, Ash and Maranti, for cases that require designer or consultants specific nominated species to be used on a project.

All of our real wood decking sources comply with F.S.C. best practices for forest management.

External Pergolas & Gazebos

The UAE has a constant demand for shading and external features. Timberwolf can supply and install designer applications in both composite and real wood options. Suitable for commercial and domestic projects, we have a dedicated auto-cad drafts team that can design different function as well any structural design detailing. Design can be made to anything from fully integrated huts, or external street furnishings or majlis style extensions of buildings to even fully cladded pergolas and beach cabanas. Timberwolf are unlimited by design.

External Wood Plastic Composite Decking

Timberwolf work with a local manufacture to provide Eco Friendly, Gulf Specification, Maintenance Free composite decking solutions. There are two types of composites that we work within the UAE The first option is our polyethylene (PE-WPC) of which is stocked in 5 standard colours and made to set lengths of 2200mm. The second option is our polyvinyl (PVC-WPC), which is made to order locally to offer custom lengths and colours to suit specific requirements.

Factory Operations

Timberwolf operates from a 45,000 square foot production factory, with 24 hour production on a standard shift system. General shifts consist of between 60 to 90 factory operators, with an average of 180 to 270 factory operators a day on the factory floor. Our wood production facilities that are strictly managed to British standards. The company has efficient and dedicated support systems enabling the Timberwolf team to produce many of the regions most ambitious designs and complicated timber applications. We also bring in from the UK and the EU on temporary or limited basis for specific projects technical experts to join the team for one off projects.

• Tongue & Grooving of upto1050/m2 per 24 hour day in random length, or up to 750/m2 per 24 hour day in fish bone and herringbone design of cut lengths. More complex designs are subject to detail.

• Lacquer Drying of between 500/1000/m2 per 24 hour working day.

• Board cutting of up to 1000/m2 24 hour day• Batten cutting of up 5000LM per 24 hour day. Factory schedules can be tailor designed to suit Large/Medium scale packages for project planning with project programs that allows for accurate time tables and accountability of hand over.
