clubland from the UK to Uganda!

Unfamiliar with the concept? It works by taking a room full of clubbers, removing the soundsystem, arming said clubbers with a set of wireless headphones and having two seperate DJ’s broadcast to them over two

FM channels. At the same time. That’s right, two Deejay’s playing two contrasting styles of music, side by side, on the same stage, at the same time, over two seperate FM channels. Party-goers can switch

between both DJs via a toggle switch on the side of their specially adapted wireless ‘disco muffs’.

Don’t like the electro vibes that DJ ‘A’ is throwing down? Then switch over to DJ ‘B’ he might be spinning a reggae set. Don’t have the energy to keep up with DJ ‘A’s indie rock and roll mash-up? Check out DJ ‘B’

he’s got an R&B vibe going on. Simply flick the switch on your headphones, select your DJ and get busy on the dancefloor.

So what’s to see at Headphone Disco’s ‘Two Deejay Supershow’? First up, you’ve got two DJs battling to out-do each other for the crowd’s attention. Each DJ wants to increase his share of the crowd and will try

every trick in the book to divert attention away from the other one. Meanwhile you have 2000 plus clubbers getting down to a soundtrack that only they can hear. Half the crowd might be bouncing to hard house while the other are skanking to hip hop. Is it silent? No chance! Imagine the sound of two thousand voices singing

in unison to a classic party track or cheering wildly when their DJ of choice drops another massive tune. The atmosphere at Headphone Disco’s ‘Two Deejay Supershow’ is always electric.

Since launching in 2006 Headphone Disco have performed their unique show to audiences around the world. They’re rocked the party at the world renowned Glastonbury Festival in the UK, hosted a 12 week

residency at Spiegelworld in New York City, toured a ‘Headphone Disco Snow Show’ around Western Canada for a month and even taken the concept to Africa for two nights at the Bayimba Festival in Uganda.

Now with four international bases covering North America, South America, Europe and East Africa the brand is expanding quickly into new territories, spreading the silent party vibe around the world. 2011 promises to be the biggest year yet with even more shows, an enhanced visual set-up and new and

exciting opportunities opening up worldwide.
