And of the happiness and joy, That was shared by you and I. I think of all the laughter, The smiles and all the fun. And before I even know it, My tears have once again begun. For although it brings me comfort, To walk down memory lane, It reminds me how without you; Life has never been the same. Forever missed and loved by Mom, Dad, Brother and Three Nephews In Memory of Brian K. Chaney May 8 th 1976 -- June 18 th 2016 The Estill County Lady Engineers girls basketball team will have a new coach at the helm when the new season rolls around near the end of November. Longtime assistant coach and middle school head coach Ruth Hughes will be taking over as ECHS head coach following the departure of Brian Hall to coach girls basketball at Bryan Station High School in Lexington. Hall came to Estill County in the 2014-15 season after previously serving as head boys coach at Powell County High School. He compiled a 45-42 record in three years at Estill with 13-13, 13-17 and 19-12 season records but was only able to take the Lady Engineers to the regionals one time which was last season when Estill defeated Powell County but fell 49-47 to Owsley County in the district finals. The Lady Engineers lost 62-51 to Knott County Central in the 14th Region tournament. Coach Hall was highly respected at Estill County both on and off the basketball floor and will be missed.
