The Canadian Western Agribition kicked off at the Evraz Place in Regina, SK on November 21 st . In its 39 th edition, Agribition extended its hours to an 8 day event with a larger trade show, additional entertainment, increased livestock entries and several impressive livestock sales. Semex was extremely proud to be a part of Agribition and enjoyed meeting with producers, speaking with other industry representatives, and seeing the strength of Semex genetics in the barns, at the sales and in the show ring. During the 8 day event, Agribition hosted ten purebred sales that brought in lots of interest. Some of the sales highlights include a Charolais bull calf that brough in $67,500 for half interest, a Red Angus bull in $26,000, a Black Angus bull calf brought in $25,000 for two-thirds interested, a Hereford bull went for $16,250 for half interested and a Simmental bull sold for $20,000.
