Preface

This volume of Advances in Modern Computing and Application Trends contains the Proceedings of the 3rd national conference on advances in modern computing and application trends (TECHMAN-14) held in Bangalore, India, during December 5-6, 2014. Some of the best researchers will deliver keynote address in the theme areas of the conference. This gives an opportunity to the delegates to interact with these experts and to address some of the challenging problems in the areas of advanced computing.

Following the success of the past two years of TECHMAN events, TECHMAN-14 is devoted to novel methods in the fields of Network computing and cloud computing, Simulation of computing systems, Network data security, Services and Storage, Big Data, Data Mining & Warehousing, Semantic web security, Database Systems, Software Engineering, Neural network, Artificial intelligence, GUI, Distributed and Parallel computing, Mobile Computing, Cryptography, Pattern Recognition, WEB information management, Information retrieval, social networks, Trusted computing, High-Performance Computing, Image Processing & Data Compression etc.

I welcome all the delegates and the participants to Acharya Institutes for the Third National Conference “TECHMAN-14”. The interest aroused by the series of TECHMAN conference is encouraging. I am sure that this series of conference will give fruitful directions for future research.

The ever-changing nature of technologies offers innumerable opportunities for the researchers to progress

with the inventions in different perspectives for the greater benefits of mankind. `Cutting-Edge` and off late `bleeding edge` technology innovations require rigorous in-depth research and analysis of risks involved to bring in the changes for the better. This should also pave the way for the researchers to help jump start industries, entrepreneurship and community enrichment. I request the participants to take full advantage of the oral & poster sessions, the keynote sessions by experts in their respective areas. Delegates from various parts of the country will not only present their research work in TECHMAN-14, but also will get an opportunity to interact with their peers. The new trends and challenges to Computer Science and Applications are being put forward by the rapidly changing and dynamic societies in all parts of the world. To address the research needs of such evolving technologies we have set the theme on “Advances in Modern Computing and Application Trends”, for TECHMAN-14 conference.

Techman-14 is the 3rd National Conference in this series conducted at Acharya Institute of Technology. As a Convener of Techman-14, it is my pleasure and honor to welcome all the authors presenting papers and other delegates. The selected papers will be published in conference proceedings and the best papers in the following journals,

1. International Journal of Computer Science and Mobile Computing (IJCSMC)

2. The International Journal of Modern Computer Science (IJMCS)

Out of total papers seventy one, forty six Papers are selected for proceedings and thirteen for journal publications.

I hope that the platform created through Techman-14 conference will help us to share the new innovative ideas for the benefit of research community and promote research and development activities, professional interactions and future collaborations.
