THANK YOU! Collection for 03-09-15 Week 1:
$20,360.00 31% of Goal: $64,959.00
Thank you to everyone who has shared
the many blessings they have received,
with your generous gift to our Diocesan Services Appeal.
Our gifts to DSA will support adoption services, counseling
services, services for the aging and the blind and sight
impaired…programs for those who are deaf and hard of
hearing…programs for those who are struggling in their
marriage – as well as exciting programs like our Diocesan
Youth Leadership Camp, training teens in our diocese to
serve as Disciples of Christ. These are but a few of the more
than 100 ministries in our diocese that are made possible by
our contributions to DSA.
If you have not made a gift or a pledge, I invite you to join
the faithful of our parish community who have taken an
active role in the mission of the Church. Your gift to our
DSA will enable our diocese to continue providing the vital
services and ministries that help bring the love of God to
those who face hardships.
ADULT CONFIRMATION
To be fully initiated into the Catholic Church, the faithful
receive the Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist and
Confirmation.

fully initiated, it is never too late.
This year Adult Confirmation preparation will take place
in each home parish. There will be a six week preparation
period beginning Tuesday, April 14th, here at St. Mary
Parish, in Conference Room B, at 7PM.
Adult Confirmation will take place on the Feast of
Pentecost, May 24th
,, at St. Mary, Pinckney, at the 11:30AM
Mass.
If you are interested, have questions or would like more
details, please contact the parish office at 734-878-3161.
HELP GLORIFY THE LORD VISUALLY
Have you been blessed with creativity? Do you want to find a special way to honor the Lord? Do you have a few hours every few months? Do you want to increase your own spirituality and make some wonderful friends at the same time? If the answer to these questions are “Yes, Lord” then we welcome you to join us and to learn the art of liturgical decorations for the Church year. No experience needed. We will teach you the way of telling Christ's story from birth to death through nature and symbolic ornamentation. What better offering can you give to the Lord than to present the creativity he gave to you back to Him as a gift to glorify Him? If you are interested in joining our team you can call Priscilla Deleruyelle 734-878-5286 or Marion Manners 734-426-3581.
Stations of the Cross will be prayed Friday evenings during
Lent at 7pm in the church.

of the most well received and attended events in the area and
have raised thousands of dollars for various causes such as
Christmas Food Baskets, Parish Youth Ministry, and School
Auction Team. Sure it’s work, but the friendships are
forever and the reward for helping those who need our

Calling Interested Teens
for Living Stations Have you witnessed the Living Stations of the Cross that the
teens bring to you on Good Friday? Would you like to be a
part of it? You do not have to have any “acting” ability just
the willingness to open yourself up to become the person
who witnessed Jesus on the road to Cavalry. It is not just
some part that you read. It is a part that you witness and
become. The stations are a prayer, prayed with our parish
family on Good Friday. It truly is a beautiful ministry. You
must be willing to put time in and truly be open to this
wonderful gift. You must also be available Good Friday!
