An Act of Spiritual Communion My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen. https://www.ewtn.com/catholicism/devotions/act-of-spiritual-communion-339

These are uncertain times with the Coronavirus Pandemic changing our lives in ways we never thought possible. There has been an upsurge of abortions seen in some places because of this and prayers for the unborn are needed now more than ever.
A Prayer for an End to Abortion Heavenly Father, Spare our nation from the scourge of abortion. Protect the lives of children in the womb. Give hope and strength to their mothers. Stir love in the hearts of fathers to support and cherish mother and child. Cause our elected leaders and the courts to recognize and protect the personhood of unborn children. Lift up church leaders to proclaim a Culture of Life. Lead parents who had abortions to repentance and healing. Bring about the conversion of the abortionist, of those who deny the birthright of children and of those who are indifferent. Grant me the courage and energy to be a Defender of Life. I ask this through my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Dear St. Ambrose Community,
I have no words to express how honored and blessed I feel to have the opportunity to serve the beautiful community of St.
Ambrose.
I hold a bachelor degree in business administration with a minor in International Finance and a Master of Education in Ad-
ministration and Supervision.
I worked many years in the Finance industry. I became an educator by chance when a teacher suggested that I should inter-
view for a teaching position at her school. During the interview process, I realized, I was meant to be an educator and that
I found my passion in life.
During the last ten years of being a teacher and Administrator, I learned many lessons, and I would like to share with you
the top three I feel most passionate about. Such outlines a vision for St. Ambrose School and highlights some important
areas that we will be focusing our efforts in the next school year.
My vision emphasizes the following:
Diversity of Learning:
Each child learns in a different way and we need to be able to meet their individual needs by individualizing instruction.
We will do this by providing our teachers with the resources and professional development they need to be successful in
the classroom. When we support and respect the student’s learning differences, we help them build self-confidence and
develop their gifts and talents.
Partnership:
I have learned that for schools to thrive we need a strong partnership between parents, teachers, and leadership. If we are
going to be successful, it will be by working together. I do not work alone or in isolation, therefore, I am committed to
have open communication and be transparent at all times. You can count on me and together we will fulfill our school’s
mission.
Curriculum and Technology:
We are educating children with fast-growing minds and we need to keep up with them. This means that our curriculum and
technology need to be constantly refreshed, and we need to bring innovations that help students grow at the same pace the
world is growing. I will be developing a curriculum and technology committee to help support these efforts.
In addition, I will focus my efforts to strengthen the following:
Our mission: our ability to discover and develop our students’ unique talents and gifts in a safe and nurturing environ-
ment.
Our main purpose: our capacity to nourish our students’ character with values and actions that follow the example of Je-
sus.
Our Catholic identity: our potential to focus on developing the “whole child” by preparing our students academically,
intellectually, spiritually, physically, socially, and emotionally with strong values that will allow them to fulfill a critical
role in our world, our country, and our Church.
Our Enrollment: our capability to increase our student enrollment by:
a. increasing our online presence through updates in our website content and advertising. We have already made
some changes to our website and have added some promo videos.
b. developing a frame work for lead follow-up and improved customer services with standardized email scripts to
ensure prompt response to those families showing interest in our school.
c. creating a lead tracking database and protocol for proper lead follow-up. We will have an email automation to
stay in touch with prospects families and provide them with valuable information as they decide whether or not to
apply to our school.
I am looking forward to starting this new journey with you and having the opportunity to get to know each one of you
soon.
Yours in Christ,
Maria Teresa Tejada
