A little about Stephen AmbroseBorn, January 10, 1936Died, October 13, 2002Born in Lovington, Illinoisbut he was raised in Whitewater, WisconsinHis dad was a town doctor.When he got older he went to the Navy. 3. When he came back from the navy he went University of Wisconsin and became a pre-med student, tofollow his fathers footsteps. He also got to play football there for 3 years.Yet he decided changing his career to write about american history and american heros. 4. What he wroteHe wrote as you may know Lewisand Clark and World War II.He "wrote" or most reasonably to say, edited more than 35 books.For example he copied from the Wild Blue, Crazy,Horse and Custer, Citizen Soldiers, Ruin andRecovery and so many more. 5. October 13, 2002Right after he has been pleaded guilty he died of lung cancer.There was not much to go on with the case because he died.He is now remembered as the dead american history writer who plagiarized. 6.
