The Stoupakis story begins in 1896 on the island of Chios, where the one of a kindanise flavored ouzo traveled to all of Chios’villages and even across the sea, reachingthe Asia Minor coast. In 1900, YannisStoupakis acquired his first official permitfrom the Ottoman Empire allowing him tooperate his distillery at Dafnonas. Today,those very same copper stills he so carefully tended to are at the company’sstate of the art facilities.
Stoupakis Chios Distillery gathers all ofthe legendary goodness of Chios anise inone premium distillate, bursting with flavorand the lingering luxury of perfect taste.Stoupakis Ouzo Kazanisto takes its namefrom the traditional copper stills (Kazania)where it is painstakingly distilled drop bydrop under meticulous conditions.Heavenly perfection!
