Position Overview
The Australian Trade and Investment Commission – Austrade – contributes to Australia’s economic prosperity by helping Australian businesses, education institutions, tourism operators, governments and citizens as they:
Develop internation markets and promote internation education
Win productive foreign direct investment
Strengthen Australi’a tourism industry
Seek consular and passport services
Austrade is looking for a motivated intern who has personal drive and integrity to work in this fast-moving policy space. The role will be available in one of Austrade's key work areas.
We need someone who:
Possesses strong written and oral communication skills
Strong analytical mind and ability to solve problems
Willingness to learn and can take on new tasks
Can develop a broad understanding of international business and relations
Can build relationships and value collaboration

Ideal Degree/Discipline
Economics, International relations, communications and similar disciplines
Eligibility Requirements
Second last or final year of a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree
Australian citizens only
Identify as having disability
Candidates may be required to undergo a background check security clearance
