Stepping Into Internship Program - Position DescriptionThe Australian Network on Disability’s Stepping Into program is a paid internship scheme that matches talented university students with disability with roles in leading Australian businesses.

Position Overview
How your role makes a difference. The purpose and unique contribution of your role is to be a contributor to the planning and execution of the technology strategy for some of IAG’s most business critical platforms.
The Platform Delivery team is focussed on driving efficiency improvements across operation health/maintenance and strategic delivery for all Platforms. You will collaborate with and support the Platform Delivery team and other platform stakeholders to ensure full transparency of platform capacity and demand, as well as initiative and operational performance, to achieve delivery and operational priorities and objectives.
For your role to make a difference, you will be customer and team focussed, results driven and able to work collaboratively with our people to assist Platforms in achieving their objectives. You will be able to work with Platforms to pull together reports monitoring their health and performance.
You will also have the opportunity to develop your capabilities and skills so that they can be utilised more broadly within Group Technology and IAG.
Your accountabilities will also require you to:
Collate Platform contribution to monthly Group Tech Resource Capacity Planning report based on Platforms Capacity reporting.
Collate monthly Operational report providing an overview of the operational performance across Platforms.
Utilise the Operational Reports to effectively monitor Platform operational performance, working with the Specialist, Platform Delivery to call out where there is a risk of Platforms not meeting SLA requirements and celebrating successes.

Collate monthly Platform Major Initiatives report providing an overview of the status of Strategic Initiative delivery across Platforms.
Collate Platform contribution to monthly LT Major Change Project Summary report providing a combined view of the status of Strategic Initiative delivery across Group Tech.
Identify improvements to Major Initiatives and Operational reporting for clearer messaging to senior managers and improving the monitoring of Platforms, working closely with the Specialist, Platform Delivery to roll-out the improvements to Platforms.
Document internal processes of the Platform Delivery team

Technology or Business Degree related
Eligibility Requirements
Second last or final year of a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree
Australian citizens, Permanent residents and international students with full working rights only
Identify as having disability
Candidates may be required to undergo a background check security clearance
