Position Overview
Role Purpose
Strategy & Finance
This role, reporting to the ePMO Manager contributes to the reporting and support activities for Telstra’s enterprise-wide Programme Management Office (ePMO) and Function PMO’s.
The incumbent provides regular reporting to support the annual capital investment planning cycle, and for in year capital program performance monitoring. This includes development, scheduling and preparation of standard and ad hoc system reports to assist the Enterprise and Function Unit PMO’s with their performance analysis, tracking and insights for the Capex Program.
Key Accountabilities
Reporting, decision support and governance
Provision of timely, accurate and consistent capex program reporting to key stakeholders – Enterprise PMO, Function PMO, Project/ Program Manager and Finance stakeholders – including the provision of data driven insight and analysis. Provide reporting to support capex governance decisions and transactions.
Ensuring the EPM365 (CA PPM) is accurate and reflects in plan cases, approvals and appropriate status updates
A key responsibility is management of the EPM365 book of record for programmes and projects within the Capital Investment plan – this includes ensuring that base data is established in line with requirements and project managers are making timely and accurate updates to ensure that the reporting “book of record” is accurate.

Maintain EPM365 enhancements backlog and make recommendations to manage and implement backlog items to align with the broader Capital Management goals and our move to more agile ways of working
Maintenance and support of DRIVE
Manage relationships between Telstra stakeholders and vendor to support ongoing enhancements and maintenance required in DRIVE including influencing outcomes that benefit the broader project community.
Contribution to process, framework development and training activities
Active contributor to changes in Capital Management methodologies, frameworks and approaches for EPM365 reporting and analysis – including participating in cross company capex community forums to provide subject matter expertise on capex reporting.
Develop, maintain and deliver training materials to ensure training is robust and EPM365 functionality well understood and represented to the project community.
Supporting project reviews, interventions, audits and mobilisation activities
Undertake ad hoc system reporting to support project reviews and interventions on specified and agreed programmes and projects, as requested by the Enterprise PMO and Business Unit PMO’s.
Coaching and Guidance
Provision of coaching and guidance for system reporting and analysis to Enterprise and Function PMO’s, program and project managers.
Key Performance Indicators for this role:
Standard capex reports provided on time per agreed timeframes – 100%
Capital Planning NPS (as assessed by Function Portfolios and Finance community) 9 or 10
Qualitative feedback from Function PMO customers on relevance and effectiveness of reporting outputs
Qualitative feedback from Function PMO and Enterprise PMO customers on timeliness, accuracy and quality of ad hoc reports
