THEO 1003 INTRODUCCIÓN A NUEVO TESTAMENTO Este curso se enfoca en la literatura, teología e historia del Nuevo Testamento. Los estudiantes exploraran cuestiones de autoría y métodos críticos de interpretación bíblica desde la perspectiva de la fe. La pregunta de Jesús, dirigida a sus discípulos, “¿Quién dices que soy? Proporciona el centro teológico de los estudios del Nuevo Testamento y la base de la Cristología, la Eclesiología y la Moralidad. *Ese curso es uno de los cursos de tres créditos necesarios para obtener el Certificado en el Ministerio Juvenil. PASTORAL MINISTRY FORMATION
INTRODUCTION TO NEW TESTAMENT THEO 1003 Introduction to New Testament (3 hour course)
Instructor: Fr. Reggie Urban
This course focuses on the literature, theology and history of
the New Testament. Students will explore questions of author-
ship and critical methods of biblical interpretation from within
the perspective of faith. Jesus’ question, addressed to his disci-
ples, “Who do you say that I am?” provides the theological
center of the New Testament studies. *This course is one of
the 3 hour courses needed to obtain the Diocesan Certification
in Youth Ministry.

CHARISMS—THEO 4881 NAVIGATING CHARISMS
Coordinating Instructor: Fr. Robert Schremmer To take this class for credit, one needs to have participat-
ed in a Called and Gifted Workshop. The Workshop would be beneficial for those not taking it for credit. The Workshop guides one to recognize gifts given by the Ho-ly Spirit through baptism and confirmation. These gifts enable one to accomplish things for God above and be-
yond your natural abilities. Topics include steps needed for discernment of spiritual gifts; clues one needs to follow God call; the way char-isms can work together uniquely in one’s life; release of
control to welcome charisms. Wednesday evening: January 30
Class Time: 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. To enroll in this class for credit, you will need to have
participated in a Called and Gifted Workshop. Cost: 1 hr. course for college credit - $50.00* 1hr. course
