Saint Bernadette PTO Minutes July 11, 2011 In aitendance Mrs. Beeks, Tmcey Pilone, Mandy Molinari, Yvonne Homer, Laurie Altdorfer, Becky Garcia, Emily Weyrich Opening Prayer Board Appointment of new officers Secretary - Yvonne Horner Treasurer - Laurie Altdoder Ways and Means Chair - Becky Garcia CulturalAtu Chair - Tracey Hill Grade Representatives: K-2 - Trish Buswell 6 - 8 Maricarmen Illecias Volunteer Coordinators: Jill Hardek and Mo Lauren We are still in need of a volunteer for 3-5 Grade Rep. Budget The finance report for the previous schml year was disilibuted by Emily Weyrich and reviewed by the board. Leftover funds for the cafetenb optoat and the freld trip busseswere discussed, and will be on the agenda for the General Membership meeting in AugusL It was agreed that all funds not ud last year will be spent inmediatety neut year in addition to the {unds nisd for naut year. A draft of a budget for the new school year was distributed, and it was asked that the board members review this prior to discussion at the no<t board meeting. Principal's Repo* Mrs. Beeks stipulated that all expenses for the PTO must be approved prior to reimbursements being issued. An e><pense reimbursement form will be drafted/revised to include the budget account that is being charged for the expnse, and an area for autprized signature for reimbursement. Procedures for cash handling need to be standardized and upheld. Possibility of Bob Cartucio from the Dioese to come out and review guidelines for ash handlingwrth operating commitee and fundraiser volunteers. Prcs.ident's Report RFE Coordinator - we are in need of an RFE (Race for Education) coordinator and volunteers. There are a number of tasks invotud that aould be divided up. Mrs. Beeks and Tracey will meet wiffi Darleen Rouin to gather more information. It was agreed that we need to have a paid bookkeeper position. This must be approved by the generalmembership, and will be presented at the August meeting.

New Business. VP Mandy Molinari will review the PTO chafter, and bring recommendations for possible changes to

the chafter. She will also review the website for possible changes.
