    The Caleuche

The legend of The Caleuche is very

popular in the south of Chile. TheCaleuche is a ghost ship that sailsthe seas around Chilo. It onlyappears at night and you can see itbecause of the lights and the musicthat come from the parties thesailors always have on board.

If a person gets close to TheCaleuche, itdisappears. If you see the ship and the sailors there see you, they can kill you. And if the ship is near the shore, sometimes theytake andinvite a victim to visit the cities at the bottom of the sea forever.

So, if you go to Chilo, be careful, a ghost ship may be around.
