• Current Issues• The Red Cross (ARC) has 38 Emergency Response

Vehicles (ERV'S) working the disaster areas serving food, distributing cleanup and comfort kits, providing condolence teams, etc.

• The Salvation Army (TSA) has 4 Canteens working in the disaster area and has also been handing out cleanup kits throughout the day.

• The Seventh-day Adventists are operating a mobile kitchen in the disaster area and are serving approximately 900 hot meals per day.

• Shelter database updated in real time @ Floridadisaster.org.

• Elder Affairs and Children & Families mobilizing staff to provide assistance as required.

ESF 6 – Mass Care

• Unmet Needs – None

• Future Operations• Shelter operations continue to diminish with only one left

open (Volusia county). However, there continues to be a need for mass feeding activities and ARC anticipates continuing to serve 10,000 meals or more a day.

• Both ARC and TSA are distributing cleanup and comfort kits in the disaster area.

• TSA is demobilizing their mass food distribution tomorrow but will continue to distribute cleanup kits.

• Continue providing SERT with information on mass care activities.

• Elder Affairs is staffing DRCs as needed.
