Disclaimer The pre-July 2016 data was retrofitted to the new sector and theme code taxonomy and therefore may differ from the previous historical data in some ways. In addition, the re-mapped historical data should be used judiciously, as several of the new sector and theme categories did not previously exist, thus rendering a fully accurate mapping impossible. Where the new taxonomy has more granularity than the prior taxonomy, “rules of thumb” were applied to distribute the old data among the new categories (e.g. distributing commitments evenly across sub-themes).
