available covering the potential demands of their clients, especially the school transport.

School attendance at King’s College is possible for those pupils who come from different

parts of the province of Alicante thanks to the extensive service of routes of the company.

This year the company has 8 school routes established, plus an additional route which is

available for the pupils who participate in the afternoon optional activities, taking them from

the school to Alicante or Playa San Juan.

The staff at Pedro Valdés e Hijos, S.A. consists of 74 professionals of the sector, highly

qualified for the posts they carry out.

The coach monitors work very closely with the management of the school in order to

develop their tasks as “coach monitors” in agreement with the educational philosophy at

King’s College. All their employees have up to date police clearance checks to be able to

work with children and wear their lanyards in school to be easily identified.

King’s College Alicante and Valdés work together in order to keep all pupils safe and sound in

school. The monitors pick up pupils from Early Years and Primary inside the school and they

lead them directly to each one of the buses parked inside the school premises.

At King’s College, the receptionist is in charge of managing the school transport system and,

especially, she’s directly in touch with parents to update the requested changes in routes

and to prepare the daily lists of those pupils who make use of the bus service. All the staff

work together to make sure every pupil is monitored and placed in the correct coach to

arrive to their bus stop safely.
