The final Mass in our existing church will take place today at the conclusion of the 1:00 PM Mass when there will be a final “closing ceremony”, part of which will include a procession from the church into the Parish Hall, which from that time on will become our temporary church. All parishioners are invited to attend. Please Note: Events involving food to be served and consumed in the Parish Hall are cancelled – there will be no Pancake Tuesday, or Meatless Soup suppers. No food will be allowed in our temporary church. There will be two Masses celecbrated on Ash Wednesday, the first at 9:00 AM and the second at 6:00 PM. All Ministry Chairs and Hispanic Coordinators – please contact Joanne in the parish office ASAP to revalidate all meetings. Please consider taking home the Vocation Cross, to lift up our Parish to be blessed with a deacon to assist Father Roger in his many duties. Prayer works..the prayers of St. Peter’s parishioners have been answered MANY times. February and March are months set aside for the parishioners of the 8:00 Mass to take the cross home. Please sign up in the foyer. The AFM Book Discussion group will meet on Thursday, Mar. 2nd, at 6:30 PM.

THANK YOU. . . to all who helped to make Father Roger's Sixth Sacerdotal Anniversary Celebration a big success, whether by making a dish/desert, or by attendance. . . it was truly appreciated. A good time was had by all who attended. A very special “thank you” to Rosa Quintero, our very talented professional cake maker, for the outstanding cakes she made (five of them!!!!) for Father. Not only were they beautiful in presentation, but also delicious!!!! Special thanks to Joanne Boyko, Dolly Faustino, Shirley Hirsch, Kathy Volanoski, and Mary Wardius for their help, and for the entertainment provided by Renacer en Cristo. The highlight of the evening was hearing the joy, happiness and sincerity in Fr. Roger's voice when he thanked the crowd for everything, especially "for seeing BOTH communities of St. Peter's working and celebrating together!"
