Thank you to all, who so generously donated money for the purchase of Easter flowers for our altar. Religious Education Classes will resume on April 23
rd at the regular time.
Religious Education children will receive First Holy Communion on April 29
th at 10:00 AM (younger
group) and May 6th
at 10:00 AM (older group) Families who attend the 10:30 Mass are invited to take home the Vocation Cross for one week, to pray daily for vocations and for a Deacon to help Fr. Roger in his priestly duties. Please return the Cross the following Sunday and put it on the credence table in the Sanctuary.
Extraordinary Ministers please pick-up your May schedue from the mailbox. On April 29 & 30 there will be a bake sale and donut sale at St. Peter’s after all Massess. The money will be used to purchase a new nativity scene for outside of our newly renovated church. PLEASE BRING BAKED GOODS DONATIONS to the church before all masses. If you have any questions, please contact Donna Custis at 442-5708. Virtus Training will be held on Sat. April 29
th@ 10:00AM at St. Charles Church, Cape Charles. Any
members of the parish who deal with children must participate in the Virtus course. Please let Joanne in the Parish office know if you will be able to attend (757) 787-4592.

33 Days to Morning Glory Small Group Retreat: The retreat continues at St. Peter’s until May 13, 2017. This is a small group-retreat to gain new insights into Marian Consecration. Learn how key saints and the blessed lived. For information call Tom Famulari at 757-678-0157. The Pregnancy Center’s Walk for Life will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 in Onancock. The Pregnancy Center is extending an invitation to Saint Peter’s parishioners to again send a team of participants. Sign-up for the restart of the Bible Study of Virtues that we need to attain as disciples of Christ. Hope and Trust (3 weeks on each virtue). Meetings will be held in the foyer at 6:30 PM from May 10 to June 14, 2017. All are welcome! The Knights of Columbus have available the Paul Braunstein Scholarship/Grant monies for the Youth of St. Peter the Apostle
Catholic Church that are planning to attend college in the fall. If your parents are registered at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church and
you have an interest in applying for the Scholarship/Grant monies, the applications are available in the Parish Office. Applications must
be submitted to the Church Office by May 24, 2017.
A Date to Remember: The Ladies Auxiliary will hold their “Card Party” on May 10, 2016 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Bloxom Fire House, 15312 Bayside Dr., Bloxom, VA 23308. Worldwide Marriage Encounter weekends are scheduled for June 23-25, 2017 in Chapel Hill, NC and September 15-17, 2017 in Herndon, VA. Early sign up is recommended.
