Parishioners, please pick up your 2018 calendar and 2018 offertory envelopes in the church foyer. The RCIA class continues to meet on Wednesdays. The Adult Faith Ministry will resume Catholic Book Discussions on Thursday, February 8 at 6:30 PM in the church hall. The Book is entitled “The Search for Happiness”, which helps answer the question “How can I be happy?” Exploring the four levels of happiness from a Catholic viewpoint. r, 2018 at 11:00 AM, Bishop Barry C. Knestout will celebrate a combined
Mass for the catholic churches of the Eastern Shore at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. The parishioners of St. Andrew and St. Charles have also been invited to participate.
There will only be one Mass that day at 11:00 AM– St. Peter’s 5:00 PM Mass is CANCELED!.

The Knights of Columbus will resume holding their Socials in the church hall effective Tuesday, January 1th at 6:15 PM. All parishioners are invited to
attend the monthly Socials. Please bring a covered dish and once again enjoy the camaraderie of the Knights!
For the 11th
year, St. Peter’s will be sponsoring a bus to the “Right to Life March” in Washington, D.C. on Friday, January 19th
. Materials and sign-up
sheet are in the foyer. If you are able-bodied and wish to join the hundreds who attend the March each year on behalf of the unborn, please sign up.
If you have any questions call Kathy Bredimus at 757-678-7102. The cost of the trip is $5.00, which goes toward the driver’s gratuity. We will stop for
breakfast and dinner, and you will be responsible for the cost of your meals. Hope to enjoy your company on the trip!

Religious Education: Parents of children preparing for Reconciliation and First Holy Communion will meet January 7, February 4 and March 4th in
the church hall, after the 9:00 am Mass. Coffee will be available.
Parents of Children preparing for Confirmation will meet January 14, February 11 and March 11, in the church hall after the 9:00 am Mass. Coffee
will be available. Confirmation will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, Onley, VA.

join us in building the “House of God.” If you want to give a donation, we would really appreciate it. There is an envelope box at the back and the side
door of the church. If you want to request a prayer, there is a space on the envelope to write names, or for your personal intentions. Thank you.
