Play lacrosse and have fun while learning (and developing) the fundamental skills of girls’ lacrosse:

Ø Shooting Ø Dodging & Cutting Ø Stick skills: Triple-Threat Cradling,

Ground Balls, Throwing & Catching Ø Defense & Defensive Footwork Ø 2v1, 3v2, 4v3, 7v7, & full-field situations

Ø Offense and Defense in the 8m arc

The week will include drills, small-sided games, and full field competition. Players will be divided into age- and skill-appropriate groups. We emphasize a small player-to-coach ratio.

CAMP COACHES

Tucker Pierson is the head varsity girls lacrosse coach at CVU. She received her B.A. from Hamilton College while playing field hockey and lacrosse. She received her M.A.T. from Lewis & Clark College. She came to Vermont in 2015 from Oregon, where she was a varsity lacrosse coach for 15 years and was inducted into the Oregon Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2015. Coach Pierson will be assisted by former and current CVU coaches and players.
