We all wish him and Emily Duffill a long and prosperous life together. Good luck to Abbie Gentin who has been selected as part of the NSW state judo squad to compete in Judo National championships in Wollongong this weekend. Congratulations to Sami Bowen and Toni Sharp (soccer) and Aaron Benchoam (tennis) who will be representing Australia at the Maccabiah Games in Israel in July 2013.

Today students were given, and parents emailed, the schedule for the remainder of the term. Please be aware of the different closing times and expectations that occur during the examination period. Have a calm week. Dave Pitcairn

Principal.

YEAR 11 PORTRAITURE

Year 11 have been working on a series of portraits learning traditional drawing tech-

niques to reveal individual likeness of the sitter. The students have experimented with

the notion of the warm and cool colour theory as well as developing techniques with

expressive ink work. This process has challenged the students to think in new and

diverse ways with their artmaking which will be invaluable as they move toward the

start of their HSC. Here are a series work by the following students, Emma Meyer,

Jesse Zlotnick, Harry Scott, Cameron Lawrence, Gabie Angel and Sophie Bowen-

James.
