MisOr provincial government distributes wheelchairs Five persons with disabilities (PWDs) from Manticao and Tagoloan towns have recently received wheelchairs from the provincial government of Misamis Oriental through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWD). Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Emelia P. Andea together with Ms. Emlyn Calingin- Sabanal, PWDs Program In-charge, and Mr. Albert Andajao, wheelchair assessor from the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints, personally delivered the wheelchairs to the homes of the recipients. With immeasurable joy, the recipient-PWDs have expressed their gratitude to Governor Bambi Emano and the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints, partner organization of the provincial government in the distribution of wheelchairs to PWDs in Misamis Oreintal. Sixty nine more wheelchairs are scheduled to be distributed to the identified beneficiaries this month. Mercado, wheelchair coordinator and Mr. Albert Andajao, wheelchair assessor, of the Latter Day SaintsThe Latter Day Saints has been the provinces active partner in providing wheelchairs to PWDs with motor disability in their lower extremities.
